Don't just coast downhills or long descents...
Don't stop pedaling when descending! Yea, if you're bombing or just rolling down a hill, try to remember to keep your legs spinning. This is especially important for long hilly rides when you're generating a lot of lactic acid while climbing. When you crest a climb, just soft pedal at a comfortable RPM to keep your heart rate going and your leg muscles moving. This helps clear lactic acid while you're not producing any and your legs will feel much better for the next climbing effort. Of course, don't pedal around or through corners when you're leaned too far over!
